Review: Ten Dates by Rachel Dove

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s 50 First Dates meets The Vow, with a swoon-worthy hero funnier than Adam Sandler and hotter than Channing Tatum in a sauna – and I am 100% here for it.

Ten Dates by Rachel Dove is an emotional and heartwarming romance that will captivate readers from the very beginning. Callum Roberts and Alice McClaren have the perfect life and future planned together, until Alice is involved in a car accident that leaves her without any memories of their love story.

Rachel does an exceptional job of pulling readers into the story and making them feel all of the emotions that the characters feel. As Callum waits beside Alice’s bedside, promising to do anything for her to return to him, readers can feel his heartbreak and desperation. When Alice finally wakes up, her complete lack of memory about their love story is a gut-wrenching twist that tugs at readers’ hearts. I may have held my breath more than once!

As Callum tries to recreate their first ten dates to help Alice fall in love with him all over again, readers can feel the tension and frustration between the two characters as they struggle with rekindling their love. Dove’s writing is heartfelt and genuine, making Alice and Callum genuine and likeable characters that readers will easily connect with.

The pace is perfect, with  multiple twists and turns keeping readers engaged and wanting more. The chemistry between the main characters is palpable and the slow burn  makes the ending all the more satisfying.

Overall, Ten Dates is a beautiful and captivating romance that will leave readers feeling the warmth of love and the power of determination. Perfect for fans of Beth O’Leary and Emily Houghton, this book is a must-read for anyone looking for a heartwarming romantic story.
