Where We Belong by Sarah Bennett

Love lift us up where we belong – or so the song goes. And it’s equally fitting for Sarah Bennett’s newest book (and the start of a fab new series), Where We Belong.

We’ve got Hope Travers and her family business. Twisted with family history, this makes for some amazing reading. After all, who doesn’t have any skeletons in the family tree?

There’s Cameron Ferguson, dashing stranger and archaeologist sent to the Travers’ estate, Juniper Meadows, for the purposes of a dig.

Speaking of digs – I love the parallel of Cameron digging up the past out in the meadows, and in Hope’s heart. Did I mention the archaeology? Obviously I’ve not read every single book that ever was, but it’s a rare book (for me) to find an archaeologist as a love interest. Be still my history loving heart.

Set among the Cotswalds (I’m having flashbacks to a dreamy day spent in the area), the feelings I got were both cosy historic and refreshingly modern.

Listen, if you want a fab romance to get swept away with, check out Where We Belong by Sarah Bennett. Available March 2023.
