One Sentence Review: Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke

It probably comes as no surprise to anyone that I don’t read a lot of horror. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I don’t like it; I read a stack of RL Stine in high school, but … I like romance, okay?

Anyway, fast forward to last night when I saw someone on Facebook mention how they’d read this book and how it got darker the more they read.

I was sold.

I bet you’re wondering if it was scary, right?

Scary and creepy are entirely different things, and this story perfectly encapsulates early 00’s instant messaging (meet you online at 10pm – like I’m not living online now), and the gorefest that was the early days of the internet boom.

It’s so good to see you here! Seriously, I’ve been waiting for some guests. Pull up a chair, grab a drink and have a wander around. You’ll find book reviews, random thoughts about life with ADHD and autism and, if writing is your thing, there are a stack of resources for you, too.
