Playlist: An Impossible Thing Called Love

It turned out that 2018 was a busy one for me. Shane and I had our big overseas trip (cries in nostalgia), and I edited two books. The first one was A Recipe for Disaster. The second, An Impossible Thing Called Love.

This one was a lot harder for me. I was way too attached to my original, self-published drivel to really step back and look at the story with fresh eyes. What kept me going? The same thing that always keeps me ticking over … music.

Not surprisingly, this playlist features a lot of the same music as the A Recipe for Disaster Playlist (and a whole lot of 80s goodness).

An Impossible Thing Called Love Playlist

Foreigner – Say You Will

Iggy Pop – Real Wild Child

Keith Urban – If Ever I Could Love

Icehouse – Crazy 12″ Mix

Lou Gramm – Midnight Blue

Crowded House – Nails In My Feet

Pink Floyd – Learning To Fly

Ian Moss – Out Of The Fire

Skrillex – Bangarang

HAIM – The Wire

WELCOME, FRIEND

It’s so good to see you here! Seriously, I’ve been waiting for some guests. Pull up a chair, grab a drink and have a wander around. You’ll find book reviews, random thoughts about life with ADHD and autism and, if writing is your thing, there are a stack of resources for you, too.

asked this recently, and it got me thinking.

I love creating new worlds and getting lost in characters. It’s comfort, it’s relaxation, it’s love.

How about you? Why do you write?

Here’s my process:

👉 Select your #goals.

Remember, be gentle with yourself - even I’m still learning to get this right. 💡
