Controversial Topic Time: my favourite breakfast radio team was Ross & John on 3AW. I say ‘was’ because when Burnso left, I switched off. It just wasn’t the same. It was around that time, I discovered Christian O’Connell. Already on-air in Melbourne for two years, he’d moved here from the UK to host Gold FM’s morning show.
In this age of restricted travel, the descriptions of London made me ache for my favourite town but, more than that, this is a beautiful, open book about men’s mental health, healing, and family that made me both laugh aloud and cry.
